Dr. Karen Oberhauser giving her keynote speech at the Symposium
On March 3, 2017 the fourth International Research and Conservation of the Monarch Butterfly Symposium was held in Toluca, Mexico. Dr. Karen Oberhauser gave the keynote speech where academics form Canada, the U.S. and Mexico gathered to discuss the threats faced by the monarch and and discuss actions to mitigate them. Dr. Alfonso Alonso and Dr. Pablo Jaramillo, also from MBF, presented their research as well.
