Alternare has promoted sustainable activities among communities providing workshops and supporting the construction of fuel-efficient stoves, rain-capturing cisterns, and organic farming among other things. So far this year they have held 26 participatory planning workshops with 185 people (98% women) about social vulnerability in the face of climate change and its impact.
