Monarchs starting to reach northern areas, winter population count in Mexico sees another increase

As monarchs spread across North America, we have the latest updates on our work from central Mexico, where monarchs spent the winter. There was good news for the population, with this year's count showing an increase of nearly 64% over last year. Among the projects featured this year are reforestation efforts from Alternare, pesticide mitigation strategies, weather monitoring, and more. From all of us at the Monarch Butterfly Fund, thank you for your continued support – it is what enables all of this important conservation work.
